Knit 101 – Wed. April 18 and 25th, 6:30-8:30pm $30

This class will teach you the basics. Learn to cast on, knit, and cast off as you knit a scarf, dishcloth or tea bag hat. Patons Next Steps 1 booklet is included. Skills needed – none

Tunisian Crochet – Thurs. April 19th , 7-8:30pm $20

This newly rediscovered crochet technique is becoming very popular. Join us for an evening of practicing this method as you make a dishcloth. Afghan hook and yarn in included. Skills needed – basic crochet.

Lace Knitting – Tues. May 1st , 7-8:30pm, $15

SOLD OUT! Lace knitting is becoming very popular, it offers a little more challenge, and creates beautiful results. Please bring a copy of the free pattern ‘Branching Out’ from www.knitty.com , and we will get started on this beautiful scarf. Skills Needed – knit and purl.

Socks on 2 Circulars – Thurs. May 3, 17 and 24th, $45

Knitting socks is a great year-round activity, but especially good for the summer. They are wonderful for car knitting, beach knitting, sitting on the porch knitting, etc. A copy of Cat Bordhi’s ‘Socks Soar on Circulars’ is included. New and experienced sock knitters welcome. Skills needed – knit and purl with ease.

Drop Spindle – Wed. May 9 and 16th , 7-8:30pm, $30

Have you ever wanted to take your knitting to the next step and spin your own yarn? Using a drop spindle is the way to learn. We have spindles and roving for you to use as you learn how to spin your very own wool.

Crochet 101 – Tues. May 22 and 29th, 6:30-8:30pm $30

SOLD OUT! Whether you are a new crocheter, or are just getting back into it, this is the class for you. You’ll learn how to perform the different stitches, and how to read a pattern. A copy of Patons ‘ Next Steps 5’ is included.
